Womanhood & Stories Of Becoming

We hosted another in-person storytelling workshop in March, this time themed Becoming Woman.

A group of diverse women from around the world came together and shared stories about journeys to and through womanhood, including the impacts of ideas and concepts around being a woman, womanhood and femininity.

We also imagined our lives without gender-based expectations and discriminations. It was an honest and brave space to share challenges and celebrated triumphs, and heard each other’s stories - something attendees agreed they rarely have.

Caribbean Flavour Moncton also kindly offered delicious complimentary snacks and juice for all attendees.
